  • Parking is free at Carmen’s Banquet Centre, and there are quite a few spots for guests. That being said, we have been told that it will be a full house at the venue that evening with other events being held in other rooms. There is parking at the front of Carmen’s, behind Carmen’s (at “C Hotel”), and an overflow lot across the street (on Anchor Road).

  • If you purchased a table, or the guest of an individual who purchased a table, these tables will be marked with the table purchaser’s name.

If you purchased single tickets, seating is “general seating.”

There will also be volunteers available to help direct guests to their seats.

  • Yes, there is a cash bar with an assortment of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.

  • The “cash bar” accepts cash - and also debit and credit card!

If you are the winning bidder of the artwork, payment can be processed via cash, cheque, PayPal, or credit card.

If you would like to donate to Restorations at the event, there will be opportunity to do so via cash, cheque, credit card, PayPal, and through our website.

  • There will be free coat racks available for guests to hang their coats in the foyer of the venue. Please note that these coat racks are not staffed and the venue nor Restorations are responsible for missing items.

  • As long as you’ve purchased your ticket online or have the name of the individual who purchased your ticket/table, we can consult our guest list upon your arrival!

  • Murder mystery games are a genre of party games. One of the players secretly plays a murderer, whilst other players must determine who among them is the criminal. Murder mystery games often involve the enactment of 'murders' of guests throughout the game, or open with a 'death' and have the rest of the time devoted to investigation. Modern murder mystery games for dinner parties are often structured so that each guest is equally involved.

Our murder mystery entertainment will be provided by Murders Tastefully Executed, a company of professional actors dedicated to providing participatory dinner theatre at its finest.

  • While the live entertainment is definitely not graphic, the evening is intended to be for adults.

  • This fundraising evening is all in support of Restorations Second Stage Homes. Restorations exists to support Survivors of sexual exploitation and trafficking by providing long term residential housing, survivor-led peer programming, and holistic care.

Your tickets help fund our residential program at Nancy's House, our Survivor-Led Peer Support program, and operational costs of supporting survivors.

  • It is never too late! Send us an email and we’d be happy to follow up with you.

And we are always looking for long-term partners and donors. Click here to become a monthly donor!

  • The receipt you received when purchasing your tickets is a receipt of purchase.

Canada Revenue Agency has clear guidelines on when charitable event tickets are eligible for receipts. Not all charitable event tickets are eligible for a receipt and many are only eligible for a portion of the ticket price.

Following the event, Restorations will determine what portion of the event ticket - if any - is eligible for a tax receipt.
